You just got outta bed Well Don’t Stop Now Don’t listen what they said Just Don’t Stop Now Go out and get a job And Don’t Stop Now You ain’t no lazy slob Then Don’t Stop Now Keep it goin’ movin’ forward doin’ what is right The only thing that keeps you down’s not using all your might Keep it goin’ movin’ forward doin’ what you do The only thing to keep in mind is make a better you You just got outta jail Well Don’t Stop Now Go out and hit the nail Just Don’t Stop Now Remember where you’ve been And Don’t Stop Now Quitting is a sin Then Don’t Stop Now Keep it goin’ movin’ forward every day and night The only thing that keeps you down’s not using all your might Keep it goin’ movin’ forward see a better you The only thing that keep’s it real is doin’ what you do On the right path you must see yourself Winning and accomplishing the Things that just seem out of reach I know you can get it if You Don’t Stop Now You just got outta debt Well Don’t Stop Now Don’t even to make that bet Just Don’t Stop Now Get out and do your best And Don’t Stop Now You’re better than the rest Then Don’t Stop Now Keep it goin’ movin’ forward every goal in sight The only thing that keeps you down’s not using all your might Keep it goin’ movin’ forward doin’ what you do The only thing to keep in mind is make a better you

At the start we were friends Close together back when Seen a lot of years go Watched the family grow You decided to talk Both sides of your mouth squawk Different lies to each face Truth gone without a trace Why you want to throw it all away? Turns out “friends” is just something you say Du – plicity You ain’t what you sposed to be Tox – icity That is what you are to me Du – plicity You ain’t what you claim to be Plas – ticity That is what you are to me Excuses don’t make sense No one buys your defense Integrity bypass We all know you’re no class Now you’ve shown the real you We all know what to do Trust again just won’t come With you we are all done Why’d you want to throw it all away? Turns out “friends” was just something you say Du – plicity You ain’t what you sposed to be Tox – icity That is what you are to me Du – plicity You ain’t what you claim to be Plas – ticity That is what you are to me You decided to talk Both sides of your mouth squawk Different lies to each face Truth gone without a trace Now you’ve shown the real you We all know what to do Trust again you won’t get We will never forget Now that you have thrown it all away? No one will believe a thing you say! Du – plicity You ain’t what you sposed to be Tox – icity That is what you are to me Du – plicity You ain’t what you claim to be Plas – ticity That is what you are to me

Dance All Night

about

Ask The Monkey is a writing/recording project from Song Writer/Vocalist/Saxophonist Ed Wynne. The writing process for this EP started with a local ska/reggae band that I was performing with, the band was super fun and sounded great so I nudged the band leader about possibly writing some original material for the band...long story short, nobody in the band was interested so I wrote and recorded some demos myself with the help of a couple horn player friends on one track. I have 7 songs total, here are the 3 Ska tunes, hopefully I can get the 4 reggae songs released soon.
